After graduating from the University of South Dakota Cum Laude in 2009 with Bachelors degrees in Music Education and Psychology, I spent my time as a Substitute teacher in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. In my private studio I taught Violin, Cello, piano and Guitar. I performed cello with area orchestras including Sioux City Symphony, Sioux City’s Rockestra, LeMars Community Orchestra and Wayne State College Orchestra.
In 2013 I graduated from Minnesota’s Southeast Tech Violin Repair Certification program and began working as String Repair Technician at Ray’s Midbell Music while also teaching lessons.
In 2014 we moved to Houston Texas to work in their shop as Luthiers for 6 years.
All the while I’ve kept my art as a hobby. My art being featured in the University of South Dakota newspaper, the Volante, 2008-2009. Making art that makes me happy has always been my goal.
