Violin Repairs Metal Working and Embroidery Art

We are working on an in depth violin repair, replacing the bottom block and cleating some cracks in the top. We had to first, undo old repairs that had been done that did not hold, and now, get in there and fix it so the customer can enjoy their violin again. I had to shorten the rib just a little, then I can start fitting a new block in it. I will be forging a stack up of 5160 and 15N20 steel to try a twist Damascus knife. Since Christmas is so close we will be adjusting the price on some of Brandi’s embroidery art, and she will be moving on to non Christmas projects.
